Dr. Mathur is a Professor at the Carman and Ann Adams Department of Pediatrics and Director of the MD/PhD program. A tumor immunologist by training, Dr. Mathur is involved in research and training in international health, immunology, and complementary medicine. She is Associate Director of the Institute of Medical Education, where she co-directs the Pediatric Global Health Graduate Certificate. Dr. Mathur has also written a book series for children, and is deeply committed to promoting literacy among children.
